Diamond Fleet Service, LLC is a full-service Truck Repair shop working on all varieties of trucks from Peterbilt, Freightliner, Kenworth, and more. We are looking for a Diesel Truck Mechanic to assist with the day-to-day work in the garage. We take pride in our work and care about our customers and the safety of our team.
Our Ideal Diesel Truck Mechanic:
- Experienced: 1-3 years of experience as a Mechanic working on Medium and/or heavy-duty truck repair.
- Training: Vocational Technical School training or equivalent experience
- Certifications/Licenses: Class A CDL & DOT Card is preferred. Willing to help qualified candidates obtain required licensing.
- Tools: The ability to provide your own toolbox and a $250 tool allowance each year.
- Mobile Repair Service: Willing to go on service calls. Preventative Maintenance for offsite fleets.
- Computer Skills: Ability to learn new software & use it for troubleshooting
- Detail-Oriented: Aware of small details when inspecting or repairing engines.
- Communication: Collaborate with the team, whether it's troubleshooting an issue or part needs.
- Self-starter: Fully engaged in the job, enjoys being challenged & learning new skills. Hardworking & motivated.
- Process Driven: Follow procedures and ability to complete work in an orderly way.
- Active: You must be able to work on your feet, use tools, bend, kneel, and lift up to 75 pounds.
What we offer our Diesel Truck Mechanics:
💰$25-$35+ p/h Depending on Experience – We are willing to pay for your expertise!
